I try and live by a saying “there is nothing to worry about until there is something to worry about”. Just had this conversation with a friend today so I found it fitting to share with you my experience. So as many of you k ow I recently had knee surgery and I was feeling as though it didn’t go well. Was still having a lot of pain, unable to do things that I felt I should be able to do at this point. When people asked how’s the knee feel I’d say, bad! But I kept repeating in my head there’s nothing to worry about until there is. So had my 5 week follow up today and Doc said, looks good. He was happy with everything I was explaining to him. He actually said if you came in here doing cartwheels telling me you were 100% I’d call you a liar.
Point of this long winded story is, even though sometimes things just don’t go your way, can’t see the trees through the Forrest. There’s nothing to worry about until there is something to worry about.
Hope this helps anyone out there struggling with some shit, either physically or emotionally or both.
That is all, carry on
