Had to buy a new slingshot. Had to go up to a 2XL. Came in the mail mid workout.
The slingshot functions the same as chains. It gives estimated 15% weight reduction in the bottom 2-3 inches of the bench press. As it stretches more it aids more.
I just hit 315x10 with the sling shot with absolutely no shoulder pain.
It’s worth every penny. I mean it. I used to only be able to use dumbbells and it still caused problems. I dropped back to 135 on the bar and used the slingshot and worked hard on shoulder rehab for awhile and slowly started adding weight. I usually won’t go above 275 without the slingshot just Bc of shoulder. But I can rep 275 without any shoulder pain now.
I actually got a bit hypoglycemic at work last night, guess I need to add a few more carbs at work since I’m constantly moving. Got all sweaty and had a pounding headache. Check my sugar just Bc it felt like that time I almost fell out in Publix… 46! Haha guess my metabolism has decided we won’t be slowing down any time soon.
