Hey ladies and gentlemen I see people with these shirts and stickers that have like clubs on them like 1000lb club or 1500lb club what is that? I don’t have these fancy things at my prison set up. Not to offend someone if you do just wanted to know

In the Corps or any FOB or deployment for that matter, to help with boredom they have 1000, 1200 and 1500 pound clubs. 3 lifts. Bench, squat and dead lift. 3 attempts. Must be verified, usually by the gym or those in Power lifting teams, all 3 lifts must be done in a 30 min time window. Totals will add up if you are one of the 3. I never made it to 1500 pound club. Still can’t. But I can do a 1000 pound pretty easy. 1200 on a good day. But as I’ve aged, good days are getting less and less. 😂

It’s a whole different mindset. First time doing it will give you a real gut check on your one rep Max and PRs.

Personal preference. For me I always start with my heaviest lifts I can do. So for me was deadlift. Squat. Bench. I knew I could pull a lot on Deadlift for my PR most of the time. Go with your best first. That way you can a majority of your goal. For me 455 at my age now is usually for DL. Makes the other lifts not as hard when you cut out a lot of the weight.

I figured dead takes the lost out of me so last and bench inbetween to give the longest break between leg use
