This is my new log.

Seems I’ve always got a log running here. One of the big reasons is I’ve always kept a log of my training in books. Ive got several large volumes over the decades. Keeping it here is easy and I’m too lazy to record it twice.

Going with regular ole PPL with a twist. I will not be incorporating any pure barbell work. With my current and pending/potential injuries…. @Neuro and myself have deemed it prudent to walk away from the barbell strength movements for a bit. It will be every bit of 6 months… bday in September.

Training template….

Push

Blast strap push-ups

Inclined band flys/press

Triceps extension

Shoulders YTW’s or a variation

Pull

Pull ups and/or lat pull down

Rows different variations

Shrugs different variations

Biceps

Lower

Belt squats and/or single leg variations

45 degree back raises

Glute bridges or variations

Calves

Everyday in gym will be neck and/or abs

Conditioning

Usually heavy bag with air squats with abs

I have a prowler (collecting dust). If I wasn’t a lazy ass I would have that thing out. Probably time to get back at it.

No particular day schedule. I will take an extra day rest or train 2 days in a row…. All depends on how I feel.

Upper Push

Blast strap push up 4 x 8

Triceps push downs SS with incline band flys/press 3 x 10-12

YTW’s SS with more triceps 3 x 10

Abs calves x some

Air squats x little- some
 
Lower

Belt squats 3 x 12 narrow stance quad focused

Single leg rear foot elevated squats 2 x 10 lean back/upright glute focused

Medium abs calves in between sets above
