So right on the top inside after I do heavy squats it’s killing me is this from flexibility in shoulders being an issue. I don’t want my pressing affected by trying to address some weight to squats.

The area inbetween veins

Yeah I’m hoping it’s just from being in position it’s not used to. Cause it feels so much better I rest of body. I used to squat morning on heavier lifts not this go round felt good and strong when I hit sticking point I was able to push through instead of fall forward

I know some guys like wrist wraps when squatting. Helps cast the wrist lower forearm.

It’s your body not being used to the different placement of weight. Like @Poppy said, you can wear wrist wraps, or wait for your forearms to adjust. Remember also to keep your elbows pointed straight down, do not let them flare backwards, and keep the constant feeling as if you are bending the bar around yourself

Thank you will. Do I also stopped using straps completely so they are getting more work than they are used to on everything if problem last more than a few weeks Il worry more

Great advice about not flaring the arms back. People get that message on bench, but not on squat.

Of course, it makes no difference for me: My shoulder doesn’t flex that much anymore, so I gotta use the damn SSB.

I couldn’t tell you how many times guys handling me
Would scream at me to keep my elbows down when I was younger… it made a difference, but at the time I wasn’t fond of feeling like I was being talked down to, so it led to a lot of hurt feelings and all out brawls with older guys in the gym. Now I yell it at people, hahahahaha
