The first day off work is always rough. I have a very limited eating window because I'm switching back to a “normal schedule.” I will usually try to wake up around 1-2, eat, go train, drink a shake after, go to the grocery store, cook, eat, eat, eat, and then try to be in bed around midnight and up around 8 am the next day.
I definitely did not sleep well this weekend, and I could feel it in training today. However, showing up is half the battle. Everything felt heavy, everything felt slow, and everything felt difficult, BUT that doesn't mean you don't do it anyway.
