A few days ago a clinical trial was published stating that creatine causes cancer… Can this be true? Well, the truth is that it can’t, as stated by Dr. Richard Creider along with 29 other experts in a critique of this clinical trial.

:man_scientist:t3: Problems:

:grey_exclamation:They used mice 🐁 in which cancerous cell lines were transplanted.

:grey_exclamation:They were given an extremely high dose of creatine, the equivalent of 560 grams in a 154-pound person 🤯.

🧪 Explanation:

:grey_exclamation:Those mice were much more likely to develop cancer, regardless of the cause :-1:t2:.

:grey_exclamation:Anything in massive doses can kill you, even water 💧 .

:grey_exclamation:One of the previously published clinical trials showed that creatine could have anticancer 🛡️ properties in mice.

If you look at most “cancer causing” agents. It’s a ridiculous amount you have to eat to get cancerous levels. Oh. And it’s EVERY DAY amounts. Sure. If I ate 600 grams of creatine a day you know there would be more than cancer going on. 😳

Hahah fuck 600 g of creating a day. Who tf decided this was a good study? What’s the standard serving? Isn’t it like 5 grams a day? 😂😂

These crazy studies you can’t even trust most because the person paying for the study is paying for a result that they want smh its ridiculous.

Anything in excess will definitely kill you your exactly right
