How to run a cycle on TRT?

If your Dr pulls bloods every 3 months to check test levels how do you guys work a cycle in so your labs don’t come back crazy high?

Use short esters? 6 week runs?

I’m in the same situation except my quarterly labs are for diabetes and I never know when the hormone panel is being piggybacked on the lab request. It’s usually only once a year.

I, personally, do not dose 7-10 days prior to blood draw.

What @Bigmurph just said is a good idea. I will taper back to what my doc “thinks is trt”. Probably still won’t dose that week.

I dosed at 100mg of cyp 7 days prior and came back at mid 800’s. My doc will have a cow if I’m over 1000. That’s his thoughts he expressed to me.

My total T was over 3000 in my last TRT appointment haha. My doctor knows what I do, so he doesn’t give me shit about it, but he did tell me it can’t happen often. My doc is ok with Anything under 1500 total T, so long as estrogen, prostate, and H/H is in check. You may consider skipping a week of injections prior to your visit. You won’t crash, testosterone outside of prop has a long half life. That should get you into acceptable ranges. If you are wanting to play with your levels to see what works, I recommend ordering labs privately after manipulating your injection schedule to see what you can expect before going in to the doc.
