First day back to commercial gym

Well today was the first workout in over 8 years or so in a commercial gym and the people watching was awesome!
Had a decent workout, did a little shoulders and arms. Nice to have some machines to use machines for a change. Better than the equipment was watching the jackalopes in the gym. Saw one guy wearing Olympic lifting shoes while performing incline bench press. Maybe he thought because he was using a barbell it required special shoes? Lol
Watched a little Instagram princess strut her fat ass a round trying to get attention. She was cute.
Witnessed the most non muscular guy in the gym totally shaved down like he was competing taking selfie’s while doing tricep press downs.
The next few months is going to be comical for sure.

The last time I checked those things weren’t cheap and most real lifters only broke them out for actual lifts where they would need them.

Yes they are between $200-300. I use them to squat, clean and snatch, that’s it! This is at least an expensive gym so shouldn’t be too many shit bags

I wear mine very lifting session Of course I have adidas power something that cost 60 but wearing they are just as good as when in out them 3 years ago

Mine are only 1/2 inch I can’t remember name but supposed to be a way to get you into lifted heels

My wife and I have code names for everyone in the gym. “Did you see Tarzan doing deadlifts?” Hahah oh man the gym is such a weird weird place.

Gym is just me and a tiny Latina chick right now the pwo inject is working better for libido than lifts today. No cialis and I’m still getting half way there hahaha

These are my shoes even where them on back day. Now I May stop wearing them on dead’s caue I feel they have me getting in bad lean forward instead of agitating back more
