Blood Testing in NY State

Anyone know of it’s possible to get full sex hormone panel in NY State without a Prescription? I can get testosterone test but no estrodiol test without a doc. Fucking NY nanny state.

I’m on trt (125 mg per week) started with a new source and I suspect it is dosed higher than my last source - I’m getting lots of abdominal bloat and also increased sex drive.

I did bloat last summer when I upped my test but (in hindsight) I went up in significant increments instead of easing into it. I was duly scolded by my adopted son @NeuroRN.

Does ny state allow mail order labs? There’s some the guys use here that’ll give you all that. I believe they ordered the female panel and it’ll give you all the “E’s”.

Diet, sleep, training and stress have remained static.

When I did a blast a few years ago, I experienced similar symptoms and it turned out my estrogen levels were a little high.

New York State attorney general in 2015 cracked down on mail order labs. However you used to not be able to get testosterone labs without a prescription but something happened during covid where it’s now available. Yet the female hormone profile is still unavailable. I can drive up to Connecticut if need be. Just a pain in the dick.

It was at least 3 years ago. I’m not sure. However I remember having to increase my AI and it helped. At the time I was running 500mg of cypionate per wk. I’m a fourth of that now.

Hahaha that’s funny. I was prompted to run for one of our local offices a long time ago and I said the same thing… if I win I’m going to mandate the mayors office change my title to king and I will rule over this town. Hahaha didn’t run.

Abdominal bloat is caused by the corresponding rise in angiotensin 2 precursors from elevated estrogen. I would recommend looking into telmisartan as is aids in protecting us from the most serious risks that comes along with elevating our hormones.

You can’t get the labs you need in New York except with a lab order from a doctor’s office. I have to give my doctor the codes for the tests to run, she has her lab run them, then sends me the results without charging me anything other than for the labs. But most doctors will require that you come in for initial and subsequent office visits in addition to the labs and charge you accordingly.

Drive to another state and have it done there. I go to Virginia when I can.
