As the title suggests im new to this form, I’ve watched MPMD talk about forms and thought it always sounded fun. I found this from some research about Homebrewing (more about that later). Sorry, let me introduce myself. You all can call me OnixRyu (Gamertag for years). Im 20yo, 5’10, 193lbs, ~20% BF. Been lifting for about 2 good years (after a breakup, how original lol) Always been a little fat kid.

About a year ago after watching countless videos from MPMD, VigoursSteve, ChaseIrons, RP, and many more, I finally got blood work done and was it bad. Testosterone was 222ng/dL. I got it up to 356ng/dL natty and after this tried to get my doctor to prescribe me testosterone. Got rejected because it is “in the normal range”. Went through a UGL and got on some testosterone 200mg a week, did this for about 3 months, and threw Dbol in the mix (regret it, still have back acne to this day). Got scared of the whole UGL thing and went to a TRT clinic, I came off my test and got bloods done about 3 weeks after (at bottom of the post, and blood was taken 3/29/2022). They then prescribed me HCG(250iu 2x week) and Enclomiphene (25mg every other day). I’ve been taking this since 05/02/2022. No clue what current levels are, im due for more blood work through the clinic the end of next month (when the supply runs out basically)

But I don’t want to take HCG and Enclom, I have low Testosterone and how do you fix that? By taking Testosterone plus I don’t want to be fertile right now, I’m 20 I don’t want kids soon, and I want to finish my doctrine in sports medicine first. I don’t have an MD here, but I have scheduled an appointment with one on 7/8/2022 and plan on trying to get a script for Testosterone which im deadset on getting, im tired of feeling like crap and I have goals of competing. And im also interested in homebrewing as im a broke college student. I’ve already successfully made some L-Carnitine and want to learn how to make Testosterone just for the cost-effectiveness. I say all this to let you all know my true intentions and goals, I hope to get some valuable insight. Thank you for getting this far and taking the time to read my mess of an introduction. Welcome. And you fix low t by what they are doing and getting diet in check first if you have all things right and it’s still low
They will prescribe test. 20 is young they don’t want to get start Ed on pinning the rest of your life. I know at your age it sounds like a great time but many tire of the needles after a while
 
Also you at wan Tri donate some blood your hems are a little high and as far as forums go I think you found the best one. You’ll actually get advice that will help

Your Test is low
You are VERY young

The doctors are trying to kick start your natural production w/o using exogenous testosterone
Listen to your doctors

Free Test is the important number not total test

BF needs to drop significantly
Diet and training (including much more cardio) will help naturally raise your test levels exponentially


Estradiol is low, but if you read/watch MPMD you know that a ECLIA test is not the sensitive assay needed to truly gauge this marker

No need to give blood unless Hematocrit goes above 54
Drink your body weight in water ED

Lots going on here.

I understand the desire to want to fix your test. How do you fix that? More than one way.

You need to lose weight.
You need to change your diet.
You need to exercise.
You need to sleep.
You need to stop drinking.

There’s so many variables at play. The answer to your low test is not exogenous test… because you’re 20. The longer you stay on test the higher the chance of permanent infertility. You may not want kids now, but stay on test until you’re 30 and you’re going to have a hard time.

You have goals of competing? Then act like it now. Eat, sleep, train, and diet like a competitor and see what happens to your test.

Stay on hcg and clomid. Do everything in your power to stay off test at your age.

In the end… you’re going to do what you want.
 
Diet is good IMO, I track my carbs, fats, protein, and micros. I follow the Vertical diet. And I’m just worried my Testosterone will only crash right after coming off HCG and enclom. I don’t feel it’s a permit fix. But I will finish this cycle out and get blood work and see if my levels maintain. Thanks!
 
If it were not a permanent fix it wouldn’t be part of Pct protocol. You’re trying to twist facts to match your theory that you need to be on test.
 
I understand they are trying to kickstart it but from some of the academic papers I have looked at I feel my Testosterone will just taper back down.

Diet wise, I’m doing a carb cycling diet. (I tried liking a pic but it didn’t work, I’ll try to attack it in the post)

And as far as training i feel like it’s on point. I follow Renaissance Periodization training, PLP and I increase volume across my mesocycle.

And cardio wise, I play racket ball pretty hardcore at my gym lol, and do some hit on the attack bike.

I’m not trying to justify my actions just give you all more insight, thanks for the advice and I’m trying to lower my BF right now, I was focusing on powerlifting for some time so I kept the little gut lol.
 
Pretend I’m your Dad for a minute (and that we have a relatively healthy relationship).
I also have some knowledge of Anabolic use and misuse b/c I, myself, am on TRT.
You state the same Goals to Me as in your initial post.

Would he say:
*Ignore your Doctors
*Make illegal substances at home
*Jeopardize your future self’s ability to procreate

Or would he say:
*Follow your doctor’s script
*Get in top notch shape (BF sub 15%… weight 170ish)
*Join a Xfit gym (or similar)
*Run your ass off 3-4 days a week

I get that. You’re going to have to make a decision(s) that you own. You’re an adult and get to do almost anything you want.

No insulting just stating a couple things…

sounds like you have your mind made up already. That’s ok just long as you’ve weighed out all the different possible scenarios.

If you do decide to go ahead with your own plan then you’re going down the road most traveled. My “from the hip” guesstimate is that 9 out of 10 folks that come here (roughly) in your position go down the road you’re leaning towards. Very few take a deep breath and re-evaluate their situation with all the newfound knowledge they’ve learned in a short amount of time here on Ugm. We rarely hear back from those that go on their own.

Just my thoughts and rough estimates which is worth just what I charged you… nothing.
