Yea. Im honestly wondering if there could’ve been a mix up or something because it seems that his is not common at all. I’ve never taken anything except vitamins and creatine amd of coarse pre workout but like I had said. Three weeks Leading up to my labs I just kinda let things go with my diet...
Ha! Just plain ol white brother. Parents are German and Irish. I was born in louisisana and moved to Oklahoma when I was 13 with my family. I’m the only one in my family that has taken health seriously and had a good diet and workout routine. I seriously have no clue how it’s at that level but I...
So I just got off the phone with the doc at the clinic I went through to get my labs done. He said All my levels are good and My total test is at 930. This is at age 39, not taking anything and quite honestly letting myself go for the three weeks leading up to my labs. I guess it’s god news but...
I guess my concern is ending up spending just as much of not more finding a doc and keeping a doc. However if it’s a concise table amount I would save by using insurance then I’d probably go that rout. I’ll talk to this real doc on Tuesday. For all I know he accepts insurance
I have health insurance but I move around a bit for work so I’d have to find a doc in the current state I’m in and hope he’s willing to help. Or maybe I’m over complicating it idk lol.
Ha anyone ever used Prime men’s health to get labs and TRT? I scheduled an appointment with them but always leery about anything done via online. I was about to try another online source but they wanted payment before I scheduled the appointment. No thank you
So last week I had a bit of a set back with my dr appointment due to suddenly moving for work and have decided to go through private md labs. Due to my ignorance and the many options I’m a bit confused as to which test I am needing. This is the one I’m thinking I need but not sure and there are...
427 carbs / 114 fat / 171 protein. Today I came in 40g over on protein , 70g short on fat and a 100 short on carbs. I’m quickly seeing why I’ve been stuck. Only the third day of seriously tracking my macros so I’ll make adjustments but definitely would appreciate any advice on how to pick up...
Correction. I was looking at it wrong apparently. My carb intake should be 427 according to the app. I’m. Not sure what I was looking at earlier. Still getting familiar with that app.
If I don’t add them in it will be a lot easier to hit my target. Wasn’t sure how that affected the end goal but I can already tell that fat and carbs is what I need to add more of. Yup. I think I could hit 150g of carbs easier than the 223 it’s saying I need to consume. It’s just a new challenge...
Ha! Yea it’s a different kind of struggle. I can see how it would get easier the more you familiarize yourself with the proper foods, learning your body and just getting in the habit of it all. Do you add in your steps for the day or leave them out? I know it’s probably all relative to the goal...
After a few days of counting macros I’ve quickly realized that it’s all fun and games until I log in my workout. Good lord talk about setting you back. Definitely going to look into a mass gainer to help hit my target everyday.
So with my Drs visit. What exactly should I tell them as far as what I am getting tested? You gave me a list which I still have but do I just rattle it off to the doc or tell him I just want a physical and total hormone panel done?
Just got back from a vacation. Whenever I go on vacation like that Unless I have access to a gym at my hotel I just do calisthenics to keep my body engaged and at least do something. I got back in the gym yesterday and have a drs appointment next Wednesday to get my test levels checked. I got...
Thank you for your input. I agree 100%. I’m doing this for me and definitely don’t want to take the fun out of the gym and or life in general. I’m looking forward to the journey now that I feel I have a good source of correct information.
