I’m also at the point in my life where I’m burying my peers pretty regularly. Most of the ones still living are in pitiful shape… obese… alcoholics… addicts… just horrific all around health and well being.
That’s the reason I remain on peds and active.

Your gym urge will come back when it’s ready. Maybe find a happy medium with reasonable doses of peds and an abbreviated training template. That’s where im at.
When life gets in the way… I have went one of two ways.
Embrace the calamity and Lean into it… training always got better or at least leveled out.

Prior to getting clean and sober… I would train half the time and get hammered the other half. That never ended well. Now I just roll with...
